Crimson Shipping Assists with Puerto Rico's Hurricane Relief Efforts
In the fall of 2017, Puerto Rico was devastated by Hurricane Maria. Recovery efforts are still underway. In January 2018, Crimson Shipping mobilized to assist with relief efforts. Two barges were loaded with generators, utility vehicles and utility poles -- all with one destination and one purpose.

Dale Turner, An Everyday Hero
When Dale Turner volunteered to help victims of the catastrophic flooding in Louisiana last August, he had no idea it would hit so close to home. As Port Engineer with Crescent Towing/Mobile, Dale’s always been the “go to” guy for getting things done. “When we got on the bus there were shipyard workers, managers, senior executives, waitresses, folks from accounting.” he recalled. “People you wouldn’t normally imagine doing this type of work. But we were going to help our family.”

Giving Tree a Huge Success
The Cooper/T. Smith Giving Tree was a huge success thanks to the generosity of so many Cooper/T. Smith team members. The photo shows a small sample of the items that were donated to our Cooper/T. Smith families who experienced flooding earlier this summer. The gifts were delivered to the Darrow office and families were able to pick up their gifts in time for Christmas.
